What stays on your device
To save you typing your details again, the calculators remember them in your browser’s local storage: things like your age, height, weight, steps and the activities you’ve entered. They stay on your device and aren’t sent anywhere. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.
What we measure
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use, so we know what to improve. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and browser, and how you found the site. Google processes this for us. It doesn’t include your name, or anything you type into a calculator.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles the connection to your browser, including your IP address, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
What we don’t do
There are no accounts, no ads and no mailing lists, and we don’t sell or share data with anyone else.
Health information
The figures here are estimates from published research, for information. They aren’t medical advice. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are 18 or under, speak to a doctor or dietitian about your calorie needs.
